I have always valued living fully and have experienced firsthand the frustration of having mysterious symptoms that impair the quality of life. In 1984, while enjoying life as a newlywed, cardiac rehabilitation specialist and avid runner, I hit the wall with a condition since labeled “chronic fatigue syndrome”. When all my tests came back normal, I was told my fatigue was caused by stress. My intuition told me otherwise, but I didn’t consider looking outside of conventional medicine for answers. After four years of settling for suboptimal health, I was encouraged to consult a naturopathic doctor where I found answers and began my journey of restoring health.
I knew that I would go on to help others optimize their health through natural health care and was confident that I could develop a program that would help them get results in months instead of years. My career in cardiac rehabilitation instilled in me the importance of combining clinical testing, education and counseling to yield success adopting a healthy lifestyle. By attending multiple trainings a year, I am able to keep my clinical skills current to get the best results for my clients.
While my passion is helping others restore health, I value a balanced lifestyle. I am a wife and mother of three and enjoy cycling, Nordic skiing, walking on conservation land with our dog, gardening, Latin dancing, relaxing at the beach or lakeside, day trips to New England towns and exploring healthier ways to make delicious food.
